First, we recommend a consultation to see you! There are several treatments that are offered at Skinn Bar. Some treatments include: monthly membership, the VelaShape to stimulate collagen and elastin, or injectables with Botox/Jeuveau to soften appearance of wrinkles and prevent further development.

There will be a slight discomfort during the treatment, but our professionals are constantly assessing the skin and pain level throughout.

Appointments are set between 4-6 weeks in between treatments.

Slight stinging, some residual redness, minimal microscopic peeling for a couple of days post-treatment. Sunscreen is a must!

If you already have a full set of lips, but would like a subtle touch of filler, you can always try the Mini Lip Plump. If you want a slight lip flip around the cupid’s bow, try the botox lip flip! It’s a subtle flip without the use of dermal filler.

Laser therapy is a safe, effective, and commonly used treatment, providing optimal results in areas such as the removal of unwanted hair, skin rejuvenation, wrinkle reduction,  treatment of spider veins, tattoo removal, and the treatment of acne.  Lasers work by delivering an intense beam of light that is absorbed by the skin. This light is converted to heat and is absorbed by the cells being targeted, while leaving the surrounding tissue unaffected.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy is an effective way to rejuvenate the skin, giving it a more youthful appearance. Light-based treatments use a less-intense, broader spectrum of light than lasers, but are effective in treating skin pigments, rosacea, small blood vessels, collagen skin rejuvenation, and hair removal.

Yes, laser and light-based treatments have been used for many years for a variety of medical and cosmetic procedures. The equipment that we use are the safest and most effective technologies available on the market today.

Every treatment, like every patient, is unique. Our physician can help you decide what is best for you based on your needs and expectations.

In the hands of a qualified health care provider, most procedures have a very low risk of adverse side effects. Rare patients can experience temporary pigment changes in the skin color. If this occurs, the skin will typically return to normal pigmentation over time.

When we age, dead cells accumulate in the superficial layer of the skin (epidermis), collagen and elastin begin to disappear and thin out in the inner layer of the skin (dermis). The objective of any skin rejuvenation procedure is to exfoliate the epidermis so that nutrient and anti-aging agents can be easily absorbed. Laser and IPL are used to stimulate collagen production to restore fullness of the skin and to reduce wrinkles and fine lines.
